This time, the duration is eight minutes: 1 minute for the storyline, 2 minutes for the 3P, and 5 minutes for the main content 6P.

Since some people suggested syncing to beats and adding more action, I focused mainly on these two points for this project. The inspiration came from some HMV and PMV videos, so the editing pace is faster than before, with more action. Doing so many movements in one go was really exhausting.

Other aspects, like the environment, didn’t get much attention, and I didn’t add voiceovers or sound effects because additional sounds would interfere with the music’s beat, making the syncing less effective.

The visual quality should be slightly improved this time.

For fluid simulation, I used Unity Asset Store’s Zibra Liquid. However, it has a memory leak bug. Even with small water simulations, it crashes the computer. I submitted a bug report, but there’s been no response yet.

I can only say that Unity still has a lot to improve in terms of fluid and soft body simulations.

I saw at the recent Unity conference that they finally plan to upgrade the animation system, but I’m not sure if it’ll improve Timeline—it’s really clunky to use.
